She actually interrupts the ceremony to take the phone call from Melville the accountant. Mindy learns of this donation while she’s at Morgan & Tamra’s wedding & Danny is in the hospital’s waiting room. Giving her the cash infusion that she needs but promising that he wants to let her do as she wishes with the business because clearly she knows what she’s doing. He tells her it’s a shame she has to shut down and ends up actually investing in LFC as a silent partner. For the first time, there’s a glimpse of old Danny in there, the one who wasn’t a sexist misogynist, the one who supported his partner. One day Danny is at Lahiri Fertility and he’s admiring her wall of babies and all the hard work she’s put into her business.
Thankfully, Jer comes to his senses, goes back to his tight suits and his perfectly styled hair though, right in time for the Tamorgan wedding. Anna is completely baffled by this change – enough to scream at a scary loud level – and on the verge of dumping him because he isn’t who she fell in love with anymore. He has frosted tips, a cockney-esque accent, uses way more slang, and dresses like an early 2000s teenager. In other news, Jeremy and Anna are back from England where they attended his father’s funeral and Jeremy is a brand new man. They both play creeps though and Mindy is pretty sure she’s going to have to shut the business down. She gets over her pain and sadness at the thought of losing her business, gets up off the floor, puts away the sour straws and is seen interviewing potential candidates for a business partnership, including EP & Showrunner Matt Warburton and EP & Director Michael Spiller. I love Mindy's comedy style and am so happy the show is back on the air.The whole finale centres around Annette’s surgery and Morgan and Tamra’s wedding, intercut with Mindy trying to find a new partner for the Lahiri Fertility Clinic.
Jeremy is able to get Danny another go at driving and this time he passes for real. She then dashes around the house looking for a costume. Her friend then calls her which leads to Mindy talking to her daughter about not giving up. Danny complains that Jeremy gets everything easy while Mindy spends her Halloween alone. Danny does not do well at the test which ends with him almost hitting a person and messing someones front garden. Morgan then gets many funny costumes but Mindy try's her own costumes which leads to her saying she will not go to the party. Mindy is then told instead of trying to be sexy and funny costume might work better. Danny and Jeremy pace the practice tests but on to the real test were Jeremy flirts his way to pass.

Danny and Jeremy are both getting their drivers license. She then calls him telling him she will go to the party which a costume that will blow his mind. Mindy feels great about her new boyfriend but when they look at his facebook page they see that there is a baby pregnancy scan on it which makes her feel sad he lied to her.

Danny goes to get his drivers license for the first time and young guys there call him old. She tells him she is dating a new guy which is different but he seems nice to her. Mindy runs into her married ex Tom and hits him with the door which leads to her giving him stitches. Danny comes to the counter but sweats because he is very nervous about telling the lie. Danny comes out of his office and when he is tried to be scared it does not work. Mindy is invited to a Halloween party and she is not sure if she is going to go. It's Halloween time and Mindy is on a morning date with a guy having some coffee.
